Happy International Women’s Day!

As a mom, I am grateful for the strong women who support me and inspire me to be the best version of myself. This International Women's Day, I want to take a moment to reflect on the importance of women in my life and the impact they have had on me as a mother and as a person.

Being a mom is one of the most rewarding yet challenging roles a woman can have. It requires a lot of patience, dedication, and hard work, but it also comes with a lot of love and joy. As a mom, I have learned that it takes a lot of support and love to walk the journey of motherhood. I am so grateful for the women in my life who have helped me along the way.

My mom and my friends have always been there for me throughout my seven years as a mom. These women have supported me through the ups and downs of motherhood. They have offered a listening ear, a helping hand, and words of encouragement when I needed it the most. They have celebrated my daughter’s milestones with me and have been there to wipe away my tears when things got tough.

Unfortunately, many of us have grown up with negative experiences when it comes to letting women be a part of our support systems. If this sounds like you and you’re looking to expand your circle of support, I urge you to reconsider finding more people who are women to walk this journey with you. No one can understand some of the things you deal with better than a woman, and relatability is key to growing deep connections.

As we celebrate International Women’s Day, I want to encourage you to sit in gratitude for the women who are a part of your life. Think about their strengths and the obstacles they have overcome. Think about the ways they impact your life and how they make you stronger and feel supported. Then, go tell them about it and let them know how much they mean to you. We have to stick together and support each other, not just on International Women’s Day, but every day of the year.
