What is a Coping Skill?

A coping skill is anything that you can do with your body and/or your mind to change the way you deal with life at any given moment.

Moms today have a huge job. They work 24/7 shifts at home with their kids and families without blinking an eye. Many moms also balance the responsibilities of working outside the home, having a career, or owning their own business. It is not surprising that moms often tell us they are tired and overwhelmed. Either way, we know busy moms are always on the hunt for new ideas for how to make life easier.

It's common knowledge that you can seek out a therapist to learn coping skills that will help you deal with stress. However, therapy is not for everyone. If you are not in danger or in a crisis, you may feel that you do not want to go to therapy. For some, the thought of going to therapy is stressful in itself.

Believe it or not, there are plenty of coping skills you can incorporate into your lifestyle to make life easier. These therapy tools can be learned at home and do not require an in office visit. We are sharing a free workbook that is all about teaching you  what these skills are and how to implement them into your daily routine.
